Teams - Team selection will be based on the number of girls wanting to play. We have never turned anyone away and feel all athletes should have the chance to improve their game in a fun, exciting way.
Fees - Fees will be determined once teams are selected and the tournament schedule is set. The fee will cover all practices, tournament entry fees, AAU card, and uniforms (uniforms must be returned at the end of the season). Player expense for hotels/meals, etc for travel are not included.
Practices - Teams will practice once or twice a week from late March/early April until their season ends. Most practices will be an hour and a half to two hours and will be held in the Brainerd Lakes area. Dates and times will be set once teams are selected.
Tournaments - Tournaments will be selected once teams are selected. Thunder teams typically play between 4-7 tournaments a season. Tournament schedules will be set in early 2025 once we get feedback from coaches and players.
At Central Lakes Thunder, we know players are busy with school, spring sports, and family. We will do our best accommodate everyone’s schedule to make playing on a Central Lakes Thunder team a learning, rewarding, and fun experience!
